When using a PC Card network adapter you might not be able to connect the computer to the network, and under Control Panel > System there is a yellow exclamation mark "!" next to the card.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Modify the value named "EnablePowerManagement" and change it to '0' based on the following:

  • If the current value is '01 00 00 00' change it to '00 00 00 00' (Full Version).
  • If the current value is '0x00000001 (1)' change it to '0x00000000 (0)' (Upgrade Version)
Restart Windows for the change to take effect.
